Newly Procured DF60A - Maintenance Schedule and Power Tilt Broken

I recently bought a DF60A 2015 from a private seller. When it was purchased the motor worked great and the power trim worked.

Yesterday, the power trim stopped working. I am thinking it is something with the motor because it does not move in either direction. Does anyone have experience with this?

On another note, having bought this new engine I would like to do as much preventative maintenance as possible. Where should I start if I have no idea of the level of maintenance that was performed by the previous owner?

Noted: Engine is mounted to a 17 foot skiff and is used in salt water.

1. Flush religiously as soon as returning home. My DF40 clogged up using the mufflers.
2. Check and inspect, replace all the anode ports inside for build up.
3. Use ONLY NON-ethanol fuel if possible

Go through all maintenance items, filters, impeller, lower end fluid, plugs, oil, lube etc. Good luck!

Suzuki sells “Maintenance Kits” i will have everything you need to do a thorough maintenance. Your trim/tilt not working. Is the trim/tilt not working from both switches or just one switch not working?
